Button-pressing game
Game rules
The 4 red or green colored LEDs light up randomly. You have to turn them off as quickly as possible by pressing the corresponding red or yellow buttons, placed to the right of the LEDs and ordered identically.
Game elements
- On the left in the photo: a Raspberry Pi, a full computer the size of a credit card. In this case, it is used to control the LEDs via its GPIO interface.
- On the right: a breadboard with an electronic assembly based on LEDs, resistors, push buttons, and mini connection cables.
- Between the two: a 26-pin connector ribbon cable.
And yes, when you spend your days in front of your computer typing on your keyboard, doing it in front of LEDs on four buttons is bound to be relaxing!
Truth be told, the real geek has more fun designing, building, and programming this game than playing it. What can you do...
